Public Involvement

Communication between owners, stakeholders, and the public is critical to project success. We provide community outreach to inform and/or empower stakeholders, ultimately minimizing controversy. As the liaison between clients and the community, we provide a single point of contact for developing clear and consistent messaging; communicate with a variety of tools such as newsletters, open houses, canvassing, social media, and hotlines; respond to public inquiries; and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve concerns.

Communication Campaigns

Every project is unique — as are the needs and concerns of each community. We work closely with clients to develop multifaceted communication plans that include strategic planning, branding, messaging, media relations, and social media coordination. Thoughtful use of these strategies ensure that key stakeholders and members of the public have an opportunity to get involved, voice concerns, and provide input to benefit the project and the community.

Graphics & Digital Media

We are dedicated to producing aesthetically pleasing, informative, and easy-to-understand graphic images for printed materials, signage, videos, websites, and 3D animations that can help project owners communicate technically complex concepts to the public. We also have programmers to help develop apps and new communication technology, such as text services or interactive maps, for enhanced public outreach.

Partnering & Facilitation

Our philosophy is that people communicate best when they trust each other and see each team member as a valued individual. We conduct formal and informal partnering and facilitation, team-building, training, one-on-one mediation, Community Coordination Team meetings, focus groups, and large and small public open house events. For each project, we help to set procedures and tone, establish meeting goals, and foster open and safe communication.
