On October 3, Horrocks Engineers received the 2019 Outstanding Plan Award from the Idaho Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA). This prestigious award, presented for the City of Mountain Home 2018 Downtown Master Plan, honors an outstanding written plan in the state of Idaho.
In the spring of 2017, Horrocks was commissioned by the City of Mountain Home to design a comprehensive master plan for the renewal and renovation of the downtown corridor. The goal of the plan was to create a renewed downtown identity, increase economic development, provide an exceptional downtown pedestrian experience, improve land use for optimized community development, and address infrastructure issues. The project is currently under construction.
